A Great Deal of trademarks and makers exist when you need to search for thorough Body Kits for a car. There exists a diversity of body kits to opt from, resolving on the best bodykit to opt for becomes a heavy ordeal. There are certain components you should regard though before you buy a Body Kit. A few of these elements may include the style you desire for the car body, how much you are ready to render and the sort of material you desire your Body Kit to be made of. If you wish for swiftness, then Carbon Fiber is the body kit you should prefer. Carbon fiber is very light weight and if you replace your car components with carbon fiber, there will be an increment in the speed time for your auto. Seibon, Carbon Creations and VIS Racing are just some of the crowning brands in carbon fiber BodyKits products and add-on.. Among the many producers of car Body Kits, theres only one trademark name that is notable of discussion - SEIBON CARBON FIBER BodyKits. Seibon is famed for passing boundaries with their advanced merchandises and designs. Profound inquiry has been done before definite products are made and serviced to the public. What makes Seibon carbon fiber Body Kits unique and appreciated is that they are made by hand. This makes the BodyKit more detailed and it is understandable that slight imperfections may be discovered only occasionally. Seibon warrants that within 6 calendar months, their clear coat color wouldn't change and if it does change, they will insure this ordeal. Another famed product from Seibon is their line of products in Car Intake System or CAI. The air intake represents a big role in a cars functioning and efficiency consequently it is also important to choose CAI as your cars air intake system.

Design of the Tokyo and Paris show cars was a sign of things to come The subcompact car has Audi genes yet is highly individual New face: independence and premium for a new target group A new name, a new segment, a new car. Is there a more fascinating challenge for a car designer? Bold and surprising design was what the Audi team was aiming for in 2007 when it designed the A1 project quattro for the Tokyo Motor Show and again in 2008 for the A1 Sportback concept for the Paris Auto Show. Both studies are emotion-packed visions for a new, young target group and the particular requirements of city driving, and have been systematically refined ever since. The future is almost here: The countdown to the A1 is on. The car is still a secret, yet Stefan Sielaff, Head of Design at AUDI AG, is already talking about the future smallest model in the Audi family. "The new A1 has Audi design in its genes. Like all Audi models, the ratio of greenhouse to body is between 1:3 and 2:3. The front overhang is short, but the wheel wells are pronounced, giving the A1 a wide road stance." The Audi design team has also come up with something special for the C-pillar. The coupé-like silhouette of the A1 is clearly different from that of the A3. "Audi is renowned for taking a lot of features of its showcars into series production. The roof arch is a unique characteristic of the Tokyo showcar; there is a certain dynamism in the flow of the A- and C-pillars. An important detail for customization; that much I can tell you," said Sielaff. There will be many ways to customize the A1 to your personal ideas, especially in the interior. The single-frame grille - a central Audi design feature - will identify the A1 as an Audi. But there's a surprise in store. "We'll do something here, maybe with the corners and the width of the grille," says Sielaff. This will affect the headlights. But more on that in January 2010.

Mercedes is set to show off its future look at next month's Detroit motor show with a concept that hints at its next design direction. In an interview with AutoCar, Mercedes' chief designer, Gordon Wagener, said "We want to elevate our design towards art and if any company can do it Mercedes can." He added that the concept will be a "long and exaggerated" showpiece which is not intended to foreshadow any production model. Wagener wouldn't be drawn on exact details of the Detroit concept but admitted that it was a "pure design concept which is long and exaggerated" but with no firm clues to a specific production model. Look for more information to be released when the concept is officially unveiled early next month.

FAB Design has refined the new Porsche Panamera and turned the conservative, standard product into a dream car. The tuners from Mellingen have expanded their programme from one originally limited to Mercedes to now include the FAB Exclusive Line. Here, mainly in accordance with customers' wishes, small numbers – limited to no more than 15 – of other luxury brands are developed. In such a way were Maybach and McLaren refined. The FAB Panamera is, therefore, the first – but definitely not the last – vehicle from this new series that doesn't come from the house of Daimler. The sport limousine modified for the first time by FAB catches the eye mainly because of its extrovert Wide Bodykit. Its made of a sportily redesigned front element with powerful cooler intakes and an all encompassing front spoiler. The front hood and other external accessories are naturally made of real carbon. The eye of the beholder falls immediately on the widened wing that takes in the rear passenger doors so elegantly that the vehicle seems more like a coupé. In addition the side skirts were made to fit the design and connect the line of the front apron with the rear of the vehicle – on which is enthroned a completely new form of rear spoiler that receives the optimum air stream from the roof spoiler and that ideally fits the vehicle's performance. Beneath it can be found the FAB rear skirt with an integrated diffuser and three trapeziform, centrally placed endpipes. The carbon fibre rear wings mentioned above are designed to improve the output at the rear of the vehicle, then the engineers from Mellingen haven't let the performance go unnoticed. After the modification the 4.8 litre turbo delivers up to 700 PS. By mounting a lowering module the vehicle's centre of gravity is lowered by around 20 millimetres. A sports braking system that peeps out from behind the three-part, 22 inch spoked rims takes care of the appropriate negative acceleration.

Lamborghini Ankonian Concept by designer Slavche Tanevsky. This Ankonian has more aggressive design, a narrow and rather complex-looking body, with a garnishing of GT proportions. The mid-engined supercar has a narrow and rather complex-looking body, with a garnishing of GT proportions. Thin OLEDs embedded between the surfaces function as headlights, and while all those lines may look weird, the Ankonian supposedly makes the best use of it all. The concept was named after a bull type famous for black hair, and since the designer had some help from professional designers at Lamborghini and Audi, the finished model has impressive looks. It doesn't have any hypothetical specs, nor, we suppose, does it really need them. The car is long, low, and narrow, and darkly hostile enough to go as quickly or as slowly as it wishes. What it does have is flames that shoot out of the exhaust, and frankly, that's enough for us. More Photos

Eastern ... As an exciting example of its EfficientDynamics engineering philosophy, BMW announced the North American debut of the 7 Series with a twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine. Featuring BMW's award-winning inline-6 engine that produces V-8 power on six-cylinder fuel consumption, the new BMW 740i and BMW 740Li achieve a remarkable balance of power, efficiency, and sporty driving dynamics. Both models will go on sale in the United States as 2011 models in Spring 2010. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date. In 1977, the original BMW 7 Series was launched exclusively with inline-6 propulsion. The United States first met the BMW 7 Series in the 1978 model year as the 733i Sedan. The 733i featured a 3.2-liter inline-6 engine rated at 197 horsepower. The 733i remained on sale in America until it was replaced in 1985 by the BMW 735i Sedan. The 735i, which featured an updated inline-6 engine producing 218 horsepower from 3.4 liters, enjoyed a production run that lasted through the end of the 1992 model year. The 735i was joined by the extended-wheelbase 735iL in May of 1988. A keystone of BMW's EfficientDynamics philosophy is "virtual displacement," the notion that BMW's modern engines of smaller displacement can equal or exceed the outputs of traditional engines of larger displacement and more cylinders. This principle is already seen in the BMW 750i model, which features a twin-turbocharged V-8 engine performing at the level of BMW's previous-generation V12 engine. Virtual displacement provides the power of a larger engine with the fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions signature of a smaller engine. The 2011 BMW 740i and 740Li feature BMW's internationally acclaimed twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine with up-rated output of 315 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 330 lb-ft of torque from 1600-4500 rpm. All-aluminum construction, High Precision direct fuel injection, Double-VANOS variable camshaft technology, and Brake Energy Regeneration are a few of the technologies used under the BMW EfficientDynamics philosophy to place the 740i and 740Li among the most powerful six-cylinder luxury sedans in the world. Delivering power to the rear wheels is BMW's 6-speed automatic transmission, well-known for fast, smooth gearshifts and an ability to intelligently adapt to the driver's style. Both models will be available with the full complement of well-known 7 Series options and packages, including the M Sport Package, Driver Assistance Package, Luxury Seating Packages, Rear Entertainment Package, and even the BMW Individual Composition Package.

FILE – In this Feb. 3, 2009, file photo provided by Gillette, Gillette Champions New York Yankees’ Derek Jeter, left, and golfer Tiger Woods help launch the Gillette Fusion Power Gamer razor during the Gillette-EA SPORTS Champions of Gaming Finals in Orlando, Fla. (AP Photo/Gillette, Phelan M. Ebenhack, File) Longtime sponsors are sticking with Tiger Woods — for now. But the world’s most famous athlete, who offered a “profound apology” Wednesday following allegations of infidelity, might find new deals hard to come by, marketing experts say, and the loyalty of existing sponsors could be tested by any additional tawdry stories or his reluctance to address the issue publicly. “Unfortunately for Tiger, the situation is not over,” said Bob Williams, CEO of Burns Entertainment and Sports Marketing, which represents companies looking to hire celebrities to sell their brands. “The linchpin will be when he addresses the public for the first time,” Williams said, adding that will help companies determine how they feel about him. Woods’ apology came in a statement on his Web site, after a cover story in Us Weekly magazine reported that a Los Angeles cocktail waitress claimed to have had a 31-month affair with the world’s No. 1 golfer. The magazine also published what it said was a voice mail — provided by the waitress, Jaimee Grubbs — that Woods left on her phone on Nov. 24, three days before his middle-of-the-night car crash outside his Florida home. Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationships but said he had “not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves.” Forbes estimated earlier this year that Woods was the first athlete to surpass $1 billion in career earnings, more than 80 percent of that coming from endorsements with companies such as Nike, Gillette, Gatorade and AT&T. Those are all long-term relationships, Octagon First Call’s David Schwab said, partners not likely to dump him at the first rough patch. Nike, Gatorade and EA Sports all released statements Wednesday expressing their support or commitment to Woods, and Gillette said it had no plans to change its marketing programs. AT&T declined comment. “These are people who are invested with him in his foundation, his golf courses, across the board. So they’re part of his family, too,” said Schwab, who also links companies and celebrities for branding opportunities. In fact, cutting ties with Woods now could actually hurt a company, Schwab said. “Brands look at how impactful a spokesperson can be for their for brand but also what the public outcry or public opinion would be,” he said. “If a brand drops him, there could potentially be negativity toward the brand for doing so. “That’s why brands typically weather the storm.” But companies that may have wanted to align themselves with Woods might rethink that — particularly companies whose target audience is women or children. Part of Woods’ appeal has been his pristine image, off the course as well as on, and events of the last week have tainted that, making him an easy target. Jay Leno poked fun at Woods during his show Tuesday night. Spirit Airlines is trying to capitalize on his troubles, too, offering an “eye of the tiger” sale, which they’re promoting with a video that shows a tiger in a baseball cap driving an SUV into a fire hydrant. Zeta Interactive’s “Zeta Buzz” mines more than 100 million blogs, message boards and social media posts to analyze the feelings of potential consumers. In the past, terms most associated with Woods were “Masters,” “golf” and “winning,” Zeta CEO Al DiGuido said. In the last week, that’s changed to “affair” and “cheat,” DiGuido said. The tone of posts has also changed, he said. Before the car crash, 91 percent were positive. That’s now down to 74 percent. The volume also has skyrocketed. Zeta Buzz found 900 posts related to Woods on Tuesday; from midnight to noon Wednesday, there were 2,000, DiGuido said. “As much as he wants to put this behind him, what’s happening now is the alleged scandal is starting to fuel the buzz, and it’s not positive for Tiger Woods,” DiGuido said. “The volume is continuing to grow and the negative side of it is getting more intense. “It would be something that (if you’re a sponsor) you would watch pretty closely because it starts to take on a life of its own.” It’s not just Woods who stands to lose. The Tiger Woods Foundation provides educational resources to disadvantaged children, with a $25 million learning center in Anaheim, Calif., and plans to build another in Washington, D.C. “With respect to the sponsors and partners, they’ve shown a tremendous amount of support in us and this event, and they’ve been supportive of the foundation and they’ve been proud of the work we’ve done the past 13 years with more than 10 million kids,” Greg McLaughlin, foundation president and tournament director for Woods’ Chevron World Challenge, said this week. “A lot of kids need our help and want our help, and we’re going to continue to grow our foundation and provide valuable services to these kids,” he said. Woods, who backed out of the tournament after the accident, again pleaded for privacy in his statement Wednesday, saying “problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions.” But that’s not going to be good enough, the marketing experts said. Questions will continue to be asked until Woods himself answers them, they said. And the longer he goes without facing the public, the more fans and consumers will question the faith they had in him. “Sponsors are going to listen to the people who buy their products,” said Michael Gordon, CEO of Group Gordon Strategic Communications in New York. “If he handles it well, and he still has the opportunity to do that, he can put this to bed. Currently, the way he’s handling it is failing. “The language in the statement is perfect,” Gordon added. “But he needs to come out and humanize it and say those words and answer a handful of tough questions on the subject. The more he avoids direct media contact, he creates more scrutiny of the situation.” AP Golf Writer Doug Ferguson contributed to this report. Copyright © 2009 The Associated Press.
It would be reasonable to expect that Ford might pass over the Mustang and instead devote more attention to its other models since it’s fresh off a comprehensive revamp for the 2010 model year. However, that’s not what is shaping up in the House That Henry Built. For 2011 , the Blue Oval is introducing a new 3.7-liter V6 Mustang that should give it the firepower and refinement needed to take on Chevrolet’s six-cylinder Camaro and Hyundai’s upstart Genesis Coupe. But it isn’t just the spanking all-aluminum powerplant and its 305 horsepower and 280 foot-pounds of torque that’s making the scene for the forthcoming model year. In addition to the Cleveland-sourced mill, there are a pair of fresh gearboxes, a new V6 performance package, and a host of nip/tucks to the interior and elsewhere. Now, we could grouse on behalf of 2010 MY ‘Stang owners everywhere that these upgrades weren’t part of last year’s mid-life updo, but instead, we’ll just be happy that these advancements are arriving at all. Despite being smaller than the outgoing 4.0-liter V6, the dual-overhead cam 3.7-liter’s horsepower and torque ratings represent massive improvements over the 2010 model (305 HP dismisses 210 HP and 280 lb-ft. plays 240 torques). In fact, that’s more horsepower than the 4.6-liter V8 Mustang made just a few years ago. While the 305-horse figure only allows the Mustang to pip the crosstown Camaro by a single all-important stallion in the pony car bragging wars, Ford says the powertrain will be good for 30 miles-per-gallon on the highway when paired with its new six-speed automatic, also one notch better than the Chevy. That impressive fuel economy figure isn’t just the result of the new engine — a suite of new pieces have been developed in order to maximize performance, including a revised air intake, a pair of new six-speed transmissions (both automatic and manual), electric power steering, and even some aerodynamic tidying, including a revised front fascia, deeper front air dam, rear-wheel tire spats, different underbody shields, and a new rear decklid seal. The Heart Transplant Despite those incremental improvements, the centerpiece of the 2011 Mustang is obviously the 24-valve Duratec V6, and it includes Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) and polished buckets and roller finger followers in the direct-acting mechanical bucket valvetrain, among other features. Ford officials promise that V6 buyers won’t miss the roar of the V8’s extra cylinders thanks to a retuned air intake and throaty standard dual exhaust. At the sneak-peek event for this new Mustang motor, Autoblog had the chance to hear the new engine fire up and rev — and it indeed sounds sporty and purposeful. To be fair, however, we only heard the powertrain briefly in an enclosed space (a large development garage on Ford’s Dearborn campus), so we’ll have to wait until it’s out in the open and we’re behind the wheel to really get a feel for the 3.7’s aural character. Other noteworthy features of the drivetrain include a deep-sump aluminum oil pan that enables less-frequent 10,000-mile oil change intervals and a 7,000-RPM redline. On the transmission front, Ford has fitted a new six-speed 6R60 automatic with hill-start assist that allows for the 30 MPG highway bogey, as well as 19 MPG in the urban cycle (a 25 percent improvement over the 2010’s 16 mpg city / 24 mpg highway figures). Prefer to shift for yourself? Expect fuel economy to suffer an iota for your enjoyment, with numbers for the six-speed manual falling to 18/29 (2010 MY: 18/26). Naturally, with an all-new powertrain and its differing weight properties, Ford’s engineers also had to turn their attention to the suspension. To that end, the 2011 V6 gets new damper and spring rates, a different rear lower control arm, and stiffer stabilizer bar bushings. A More Electrifying Steer? We always get a bit nervous when vehicles move to electronic power steering. Such systems may improve performance by lowering parasitic drag on the engine, but they rarely do any favors for steering feel. Ford assures us that they’ve worked hard to build a robust “feedback loop” into the system, but again, we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves. In the meantime, we’ll remain curious about how effective Ford’s so-called Pull-Drift Compensation system is at accounting for road crowns and crosswinds, not to mention the amusingly named Active Nibble Control, which apparently helps to exorcise high-speed vibrations caused by wheel balance issues and warped brake rotors. And about those brakes — they’re bigger. 11.5-inches in front and 11.8-inchers out back have been borrowed from the GT’s parts bin, and there’s also a standard limited-slip differential to help get the V6 model’s newfound power to the ground. In Pictures: 2011 Ford Mustang The Performance Model What V6 Mustang are we most eager to drive? The new Performance Package model, which is scheduled to go on sale next August, as it promises to provide increased grip and go. For starters, the Perf Pack borrows the uprated front struts and rear shocks/springs from the V8 GT model, along with its thicker front and rear anti-roll bars and the rear lower control arms from the Shelby GT500. Also included is a 3.31 axle ratio for better acceleration, model-specific 19-inch alloys wrapped in Pirelli summer rubber, more lenient stability control programming with a dedicated sport mode, as well as a strut tower brace and the usual assortment of badges. How will street spotters identify the new V6 Mustang? If the dual exhaust isn’t enough of a tip-off, you’ll probably have to check the glass. For 2011, all Mustangs get nifty integrated blind-spot mirrors — and if you peek inside the driver’s side window, you might catch a glimpse of the new-look instrument cluster which features a 160 MPH speedo and an 8,000-RPM tach. How Much — and What’s Next? Ford has yet to release any performance estimates or pricing, but despite the big jump in power and content, we don’t expect pricing to increase dramatically. Given that the augmented V6 nearly shades the current 4.6-liter V8’s horsepower figure (and the fact that the latter engine is comprehensively outgunned by the Camaro SS’ 6.2-liter engine’s 426 hp and 420 pound-feet of torque, it’s no surprise that a new V8 engine is rumored, and we fully expect to see it before this domestic auto show season is out. The takeaway from all of this? For those who thought that the rekindled pony car wars reached a fever pitch this year with the advent of the refreshed Mustang, long-awaited Camaro and still-warm Dodge Challenger, well … we ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
