If you wish for swiftness, then Carbon Fiber is the body kit you should prefer. Carbon fiber is very light weight and if you replace your car components with carbon fiber, there will be an increment in the speed time for your auto. Seibon, Carbon Creations and VIS Racing are just some of the crowning brands in carbon fiber BodyKits products and add-on.. Among the many producers of car Body Kits, theres only one trademark name that is notable of discussion - SEIBON CARBON FIBER BodyKits.
A car that can run on hydrogen and gasoline. Alternative fuels are good for the environment and reduce our reliance on a scarce resource, but they’re not always practical. For a while now we’ve had the technology for hydrogen cars, electric cars, biodiesel cars and more. Why aren’t they in widespread use yet? Because regular people can’t use these vehicles to meet their needs as efficiently as cars that run on Conventional fuels. What do regular people need? A car that is reliable, reasonably priced, safe, cost effective to run, and can get them where they need to go. One of the roadblocks has been limited range for the amount of fuel a car can store. A tank of gasoline can get you about 300 miles before you have to fill up. We’re pretty used to that. We don’t have to stop for gas every hour, and there are plenty of gas stations within our range. Even if you’re travelling between cities, you can certainly find gas stations less than 300 miles apart. What if your car ran on something else? First you have the issue of how far it can go on a fill-up or a charge. We need to develop ways to store enough energy in the available space with the available technologies. This presents a problem with some of the technologies, including electric and hydrogen. The second problem is availability of fuel wherever you might want to go. Until more customers buy a fuel, it won’t be cost effective for service stations to offer it. So what’s the solution? How are we going to move from conventional to alternative fuels, as we must do? Hybrids. We need cars that can run on an alternative fuel but also have a gasoline backup. They will greatly reduce our use of gasoline immediately, while providing the flexibility to use something we know we can rely on. Mazda’s new Premacy Hybrid runs on Hydrogen and gasoline. This increases its range to about 125 miles, double that of the Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE of 3 years ago. That’s still less than conventional fuel cars. Is it enough? For a lot of people it probably is. Especially when you consider the lower fuel costs and the fact that it produces far lower emissions. Mazda Premacy Hydrogen Rotary Engine Hybrid But you won’t see any new Mazda Premacy Hybrids on the road in the U.S. This technology is still in the experimental stage. Mazda has just leased a few of these cars to Iwatani, an energy development company in Japan. They’ll use the cars for business purposes and provide feedback to Mazda. Will hydrogen hybrids become a viable option in the U.S.? It’s difficult to say. A lot depends on the advances that Mazda is able to make on hydrogen technology and on how well other technologies, especially electric hybrid cars, perform.

The Bugatti Type 57 concept is a creation of Edwin Conan, the same designer who produced the Audi Avatar concept. However unlike the extremely futuristic Avatar, the Type 57 Evoluzione is a distinctly retro-inspired concept which is heavily influenced by the original Bugatti Type 57 from the 1930s. The proposed drivetrain for the Bugatti Type 57 Evoluzione is a front-mid mounted W16 engine derived from the Veyron's. However in the Type 57 Evoluzione the engine would be modified to run on hydrogen. The classical shape with a long, stretched bonnet and gently curving cabin evokes a sense of fluidity and movement. It doesn't look particularly sporty or dynamic. It does however look extremely luxurious, expensive and exclusive. Conan has also reintroduced the split line which bisects the car neatly down the middle. This design cue was one of the trademark styling elements of the Type 57 Atlantic. The enclosed wheel arches are another prominent design feature of the concept.

Design of the Tokyo and Paris show cars was a sign of things to come The subcompact car has Audi genes yet is highly individual New face: independence and premium for a new target group A new name, a new segment, a new car. Is there a more fascinating challenge for a car designer? Bold and surprising design was what the Audi team was aiming for in 2007 when it designed the A1 project quattro for the Tokyo Motor Show and again in 2008 for the A1 Sportback concept for the Paris Auto Show. Both studies are emotion-packed visions for a new, young target group and the particular requirements of city driving, and have been systematically refined ever since. The future is almost here: The countdown to the A1 is on. The car is still a secret, yet Stefan Sielaff, Head of Design at AUDI AG, is already talking about the future smallest model in the Audi family. "The new A1 has Audi design in its genes. Like all Audi models, the ratio of greenhouse to body is between 1:3 and 2:3. The front overhang is short, but the wheel wells are pronounced, giving the A1 a wide road stance." The Audi design team has also come up with something special for the C-pillar. The coupé-like silhouette of the A1 is clearly different from that of the A3. "Audi is renowned for taking a lot of features of its showcars into series production. The roof arch is a unique characteristic of the Tokyo showcar; there is a certain dynamism in the flow of the A- and C-pillars. An important detail for customization; that much I can tell you," said Sielaff. There will be many ways to customize the A1 to your personal ideas, especially in the interior. The single-frame grille - a central Audi design feature - will identify the A1 as an Audi. But there's a surprise in store. "We'll do something here, maybe with the corners and the width of the grille," says Sielaff. This will affect the headlights. But more on that in January 2010.
